Coca Cola Factory Conversion, Lisburn

The old Coca Cola site in Lisburn Co Antrim, was a former production base and bottling plant and consists of approximately 266,470 sq ft of industrial high-bay warehouse storage, canopied loading bays as well as office buildings and a trade counter. The warehouse buildings interlink with the former factory. The site was purchased by The Unicorn Group in 2017.

This project forms part of an overall Master Plan for the 17.57-acre site located in Lambeg, Lisburn. Amphora Consulting have been retained by The Unicorn Group as Principal Structural & Civil Engineer for the complete development of the site. The first phase of the project comprises the redevelopment and refurbishment of approximately 22,000 sq ft of office accommodation..

The Amphora Consulting scope includes the structural capacity assessment of the existing building’s ability to carry the proposed new loads from an office conversion.

Three building types are present within the scope of the project: steel portal frame, reinforced concrete and a concrete encased steel.
